Last week, one of our longest-standing clients, Amascotados, received the Best Pet Shop in Andalusia Award at the II petshopsmagazine Awards 2026/2027, presented in Madrid during Iberzoo Propet, the leading international trade fair for the pet industry.

An award like this isn't won overnight. And we can say this with good reason, because we have been supporting this project for almost a decade.

From a strategic decision to a winning omnichannel store

When the Amascotados team got in touch with Hepta Technologies in 2016, they knew exactly what they wanted: to grow. They had launched in 2015 with an online store and needed to migrate to a platform that better fit their service ecosystem. They were clear that PrestaShop was their choice: the suppliers they worked with, or wanted to work with, had better integration with that platform, and changing their technological foundation was the most coherent decision for their business model.

Our job was to make that transition clean and frictionless, migrating the existing site to PrestaShop. It was the first PrestaShop store we launched at Hepta, and the starting point of a relationship that has now lasted ten years.

Since then, we have worked side by side with them at every stage of their growth:

  • Opening of a physical store in 2017, integrating online and offline channels
  • Expansion to two physical locations, maintaining omnichannel coherence
  • Complete store redesign based on their brand guidelines, ensuring the digital experience accurately reflected who they are
  • Upgrade to the latest version of PrestaShop, guaranteeing performance, security, and access to the most modern features
  • Development of PrestaShop modules and new functionalities tailored to their store's specific needs
